ICE2PCS03 – efficient enable design of simple and efficient SMPS

The ICE2PCS03 and ICE2PCS04 are the latest products in the second-generation Infineon continuous conduction mode (CCM) power-factor correction (PFC) circuit series.

These PFCs support higher switching frequencies of 100 kHz and 133 kHz respectively. This allows engineers to design lower profile switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) for LCD / PDP displays, slimmer adaptors and LCD monitors. Infineon CCM PFCs harness BiCMOS technology in DIP-8 or DSO-8 packages for optimum, space-saving solutions.

- Direct sensing, input brown-out detection with hysteresis
